New Record Has Been Recorded in Keystone State – Pennsylvania Gaming Revenue $5 Billion

The whole gaming revenue that has been generated in Pennsylvania has been announced: the Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board announced on Wednesday that the state has been gaining a lot from the gambling industry – the total amount was $5.2 billion in 2022, which is higher than the amount that has been achieved in 2021 – $4.7 billion. 

The first year of legal gambling in Pennsylvania was 2012 when the total amount was $3.1 billion. The country received tax revenue of $2.1 billion last year, which is nearly $200 million more than the previous year. 

The most significant revenue has been collected from slot games. 

The most significant contributor – Keystone State:

Keystone State has been the most important contributor, bringing about $2.4 billion. The second one when it comes to this ranking has been iGaming, which brought nearly $1.3 billion, and the third in ranking has been table games, with $990.5 million. The smallest revenue has been achieved from sports betting, $401.2 million. 

The most significant amount of money when it comes to the iGaming industry has been achieved from slot games – $393.8 million. It is a decrease of 3.8% compared to last year. Wind Creek Bethlehem was the second on the list, generating a slot revenue of $272.0 million. This company increased its revenue by 6.2% compared to the pre tiger711 vious year. Rivers Casino Pittsburgh brought in an income of $266.8 million, which is 6.2% more than the last year.

Hollywood Casino, located in Penn National in Grantsville, also brought significant revenue from iGaming, which was $561.2 million. It is an increase of 34.0% compared to 2022. Income that has been generated from Rivers Casino Philadelphia was $326.4 million, which is 9.0% compared to 2021. Valley Forge Casino Resort in King of Prussia achieved $255.5 million, an increase of 34.1% over 2021.

In table and sports betting revenue:

In-table revenue leader was Wind Creek Bethlehem. The company achieved revenue worth $243.7 million. The second on the list was Park Casino, whose revenue has been worth $204.8 million, and the third was Live! Casino Philadelphia, which achieved revenue of $100.4 million.

Sports betting revenue that Valley Forge Casino Resort has achieved $209.9 million in revenue. It records a significant jump of 39% compared to 2021. Meadows in Meadowland’s Hollywood Casino recorded a revenue of $76.2 million, which is an increase of 11.6%, and the Penn National sports betting revenue was $21.6 million – this casino recorded a decrease of about 2.0% compared to 2021.

These numbers represent a significant growth when it comes to the iGaming and gambling market in Pennsylvania – and we are sure they are only the announcement of the further expanding of this market.
